A handcrafted design for Halle Smedegaard’s The Bowhunter gin, capturing the essence of local flavors and small-batch authenticity.
For Halle Smedegaard, a young Danish micro-distillery nestled in the rolling hills of mainland Denmark, I created the label for their latest gin, The Bowhunter. The name reflects the herbs and botanicals gathered during bowhunting season in their surrounding landscape, and my goal was to translate this connection to nature into a tactile, artisanal design.
I developed a custom illustrated pattern depicting key flavors from the gin, ensuring the visuals felt as carefully crafted as the spirit itself. By combining a hand-drawn aesthetic with a refined layout, the label reflects both the tradition of small-batch distilling and the distinctive character of Halle Smedegaard’s growing brand.
